French Country Placemat and Napkin Set

Cotton toile and check fabrics are combined to make reversible placemats. The set is coordinated with napkins made from lightweight blue and white linen. The basket liner is self-lined so that when it drapes, it always shows the "right' side of the print.

Front Porch Refreshed

A tired porch, dusty furniture and worn cushions are made new again. Fresh porch paint paint plus a good washing of the chairs and foot rests set the stage for a clean and bright sitting space. The existing cushions and small pillows were revived with material from a duvet cover and flea market fabric. The large pillows are from another part of the house and were recovered in garage sale remnant fabric.

Slipcover for Heirloom Settee

A family heirloom is updated with a custom slipcover. To ensure a perfect fit, the fabric is draped over the frame and hand-cut to the settee's proportions. The same method of draping, cutting and piecing was used for the cushion. Both covers are removable to allow for cleaning.
