So, let's say you need bedding. Or curtains. Or pillows. But what kind? Where does inspiration come from? Sometimes it's just a feeling you want in a room: Cottage? Modern? Retro? Traditional? An eclectic mix? What are you drawn to? Let's start there and have a blast figuring the rest out!

Let's take the best parts of that piece and mix it up with something else to create something new. With a little creativity, vintage items that don't fit with today's designs can be taken apart, mixed with other fabric and transformed into stunning decorative elements that are beautiful and functional.

Don't throw them out! Repairs of items you already have and love.

Loose stitching, lumpy pillows, missing buttons and other problems can usually be fixed to extend the life of an item you already own.
